AREA OF OPERATIONS

Creating a Safer and More Accepting World For All

We can't do it alone, and we seek partnerships with like-minded organizations that share our vision of a more equal and inclusive society.

Together, we can work towards creating a safer and more accepting Africa for all.

OUR FOCUS

Who We Serve

Together, we can build a better future – free from discrimination and prejudice.

LGBTQ+ Community Members

Queer and trans individuals are harassed, kicked out of their homes, fired from jobs, and disowned by their families and churches. In addition to this, the government has the ANR task force, which searches for LGBTQ+ community members to throw in jail.

Individuals with Albinism and of Mixed Racial Background

People with Albinism face several medical challenges related to their condition. Both groups experience ostracization by society because of the color of their skin and appearance.

Sex Worker Community and Allies

Work options are limited for LGBTQ+ individuals and women. Sex work is often one of the only ways to support oneself. Violence is prevalent for all sex workers, and those who are LGBTQ+ are often singled out for inhumane “corrective rape” therapy procedures.

Victims of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)

Often, women facing gender-based violence have no place to turn to. Labor market options are slim, making independence challenging to acquire. In addition, the stigma around SGBV is prevalent, resulting in victims suffering in silence.
